This morning, I feel the fresh cool air entering me. I delighted in drinking my jasmine green tea. My body feels like my good friend. The birds sing their delight, bringing in the day. I took a deep sniff of my cats. At first light, I saw the magic color of the morning.

The Taurus sun asks us to ground ourselves and our senses. This brings us present to the gifts of the moment. Our feelings may direct us towards changes necessary for full enjoyment. Listen and heed this guidance.

Can you open up to all your senses? Are you able to let go of non-sense? Ki to Happiness heeds the needed changes to bring Heaven down Here.

Today the sun shifts into the sign of Taurus. This welcomes a period of enjoying the comforts of home, the beauty of the Earth, and the splendor of Spring in the Northern hemisphere.

The fiery sign of Aries has lit up this season so we can bask in its grounded glory. Growth, progress, health and sensory pleasures entice us. Enjoy this time, safely.

I am learning the hard way, perhaps as you have, to see the signs of fraudulent behavior. My life focus has been on raising consciousness. Helping others as a psychotherapist, holistic counselor, yoga teacher and trainer, has required that I broaden my bandwith to accept those different from myself.

Meditating on my clients and students has taught me much compassion. My trusting heart opens easily. While remaining committed to staying open, I am no longer gullible to the “widowed single dads who work on oil rigs from Europe.” Three of them last week cannot be a coincidence.

How is your open heart? And your watchful eyes? Ki to Happiness is raising her consciousness enough to keep both open.

I returned to reading my beloved Rumi. His magic inspires my words. Sometimes I become unintelligible, like him. I’ll save that for poetry time.

This morning, my cats came in at 330. They walked all over me. That’s how I am with my higher self. When I need to return to source, I don’t care what time of day or night. I pounce on that which feeds and nurtures. Insistent, this Love cat gets what is needed.

Who do you read repeatedly? Where do you turn to connect to source? Ki to Happiness purrs with Rumi and yoga.

Since the burglary here nearly 2 months ago I continue to be the target of scams. I’m learning the hard way about the Darkside of the Internet. My tender heart after the loss of Spiritwalker opened me to fraudulent Facebook “friends”. I am vulnerable.

One of my thoughtful assistants recommended adding security to my phone. I’ve been learning about my blindspots that have allowed this darkness into my realm. I’m growing into my invulnerability that underlies these experiences. This is growth.

Where are your blind spots? Can you see them through the challenges you face? Ki to Happiness sees hers in the Light.

Death and taxes, my grandfather told me, were two certainties in life. Today we account for the past year as we settle the taxes. Death asks that we account for our lifetime.

Tax day is designated, and can be planned for. Natural death is much less convenient in its mysterious timing. Yoga offers a way to love the mysterious. Each breath reminds us to let go. Corpse position (Savasana) invites us to contemplate the mystery, and reorder our accounts accordingly.

Have you accounted for your year with the IRS? How are your accounts with your Internal Revenue Self? Ki to Happiness loves this mysterious life.

I’m so glad to be home. In the familiarity of all my habits, and the patterns I’ve chosen consciously, I am supported in staying centered in my Higher Self. I am aware that all was able to continue without me here.

This perspective shifts my self importance down to reality. Life goes on. With or without me. This frees and delights me into my rightful place in the universe. Happiness and underlying love pours forth as I accept my spot.

Having unpacked from my trip, I settled back into the rhythms of this life. I love teaching yoga, just as much as I love practicing yoga. I feel privileged and honored to work privately with students and clients. My cats and I delight together in our early mornings together.

These simple truths are astounding and miraculous. In researching my history during my recent trip, I am silenced by my awareness of the nothingness from which I come. If I’d asked anyone if I could make this life up from that nothingness, I’m sure I would have been told it was impossible. My supervisor once told me “we’re all making it up, so make it good.”

We enter into the courageous and bold energy of Aries housing our sun, moon, and several other planets. This is a time of clearly setting intentions to move forward, facing our fears, and into our true purpose.

Reaching deeply into our Soul, clear the way for newness to arise. Much growth has occurred during our dark winter of the pandemic. Soon that growth will be visible, as we persevere ever toward the light of inspiration, truth and hope.

This saint is the patron of technology. His feast day has just occurred April 4. I was traveling then. My offerings were minimal.

I started having problems with my phone app on April 7. Yesterday I made a specific petition to the Saint, with a designated offering and an apology for not honoring his day fully. Voila! Phone app is fixed, with technology repaired through the son of a beloved community member.
