In the sunny springlike winter afternoon, Bob and I took our walk. I experimented with chanting instead of talking with him. We have processed all we have needed to verbally.
I walk faster than him. That allows me to get out ahead of him and make my sounds without him hearing. I will continue in this way as long as there’s no other need for verbiage.
Do your relationships afford space in which you don’t have to talk? What practice might be more uplifting than chatting? Ki to Happiness walks and chants alone and now also with her partner.
