The cats are eating again. After a thorough smudging and several helpers contributing to securing the Hatha Yoga Center, I slept with the cats there.They have resumed playfulness. This is a great marker of their recovery.

I discovered after blogging yesterday that my wallet was also stolen. I have petitioned Saint Anthony for his assistance, saying “Tony, Tony, look around, something’s lost and can’t be found.” He has been a miraculous retriever for me in the past. Of course, I also followed up with filing another police report, as well as securing all my accounts.

Has Saint Anthony helped you? Are you able to find your playfulness? Ki to Happiness will.

Still shaking, I reach out to you to let you know how grateful I am that this cell phone and my computer both have been recovered. The cops have just left after returning these devices to me.

My husband and cats and I will be fine. Hatha Yoga Center has been broken into. Our entryway will need to be replaced. One person is in custody. Through “find my phone” on my old backup phone, they were able to track him down at a homeless settlement nearby.

Are you good in a crisis? How quickly can we all recover from our traumas? Ki to Happiness is better now already.

After three weeks in its retrograde phase, the planet governing communication and transportation will appear to move forward today. With it, our new efforts are supported in also moving forward, with clear communication and greater ease of movement.

This will support the new Aquarian age in being more manifest. Having reflected and reviewed during the past three weeks, there is energy to put our growth into our words and efforts now.

On my constitutional walk I was delighted to see ground still covered in snow. In my district, gray slushy mounds linger. Deep in nature’s ravine brilliant white covers the sleeping earth.

As I exited my sacred spot, I saw a flash of an orange hunting jacket. I knew that was my friend and neighbor. I rushed out to greet and share the path a while. Wonder filled with the simple blessings, we opened our hearts and talked openly in the cathedral of trees.

Where do you find wonder? How open are you to the blessings in the ordinary? Ki to Happiness finds blessings along the path.

At this moment, millions in our country are without power, electricity, heat, or running water. I feel for my brothers and sisters who are struggling right now, if far away. I have experienced such things myself, which heightens my compassion.

We have just entered the Lenten season. While giving up certain pleasures for Lent, perhaps we will find a way to send those things to those in need. Physically sending off our extra blankets, warm clothes, packaged food items may be more in keeping with the spirit of Lent than giving up meat, sugar or any other indulgence.

Are your basic needs met? Do you have your creature comforts? Ki to Happiness is grateful for all involved in keeping me warm, safe, and well fed.

Today we’re under the influence of a very intense astrological phenomenon. It effects us all differently depending upon our particular astrology. I share this with you to empower you with knowledge so to make the most of this energy.

Briefly, welcome spontaneity to replace the status quo. In 1988, communism lost its strong hold, and soon the Berlin wall came down. That was the beginning of this cycle. We are 3/4 of the way through it as this square is upon us now.

Today is the celebration of goddess Saraswati! She is venerated on this day in India and Indonesia, as well as all other Hindu hearts. Her domain is all students, studies, and creativity.

My Indian friends have made sure I was aware of this special day of feasting. In Bali, all the kids dress up in their finest as they go to school. Special offerings are made to books, and all other instruments related to creative pursuits and education of every variety.

Paranoia is a state with which we are familiar. In it, innocent remarks are taken personally as an affront or worse, generally behind one’s back.

Metanoia is its opposite. I had an experience of it yesterday in which there was a sense of the words that were chosen indirectly were for my benefit! Lovely for Valentines Day to fill me with such ears to hear.

Instead of having white Christmas, it looks like we’ll be having a white Valentines weekend. A smile reflexively lifts my face. It’s beautiful look out on the fresh falling snow, from the safety of my warm shelter. It’s predicted to continue all day.

I love it when nature demands our attention. Any possibilities towards greater reopening is halted. Less urgent matters take a backseat. Only the most essential travel will happen. It’s still and quiet. Soon, more eyes will open and look out into this amazing world we live in.
