Ready already

 I returned on my e-bike in the wind and rain from my dental appointment with my new dentist, famished.  I opened the fridge and saw food I had already prepared and quickly heated it up. Chewing with my freshly cleaned teeth, I satisfied my hunger in time to attend Bob’s 530 yoga class.

The practice and the warmed food helped to ground me in gratitude for my humble habits. Without specifically intending, I became aware that I was already ready to rebound from the stresses of the appointment. This morning, I have bounced back into aligning with the inherent joy of living.
