On Sundays, I speak with my only brother. Primarily we check in about how Mom’s doing and if there’s any need for us to change our plans to assist her. We also catch up with the news of our week of work, play and cats.
We had reason to chat on FaceTime video yesterday, which gave me a chance to see his 2 cats. I sit outside for our conversations to respect Bob’s need for privacy as he prepares for his classes so I could only send pictures of our three indoor cats. These 5 cats bring us such joy as well as periodic concern, it’s a pleasure to share this intimacy with him.
