I excitedly went up to give my support to our local reopened farmers market. My desire was to give them money, for their many efforts, and bringing us healthy food. Perhaps purchasing things that I didn’t really need. The gray day, the mist in the air, the chill of the wind, foretold of a different experience.
I was met by the security guard wildly gesticulating. I needed to go around the block to enter in the one-way direction that was allowed. Doing so, the head counter had a line around the block with masked and gloved people waiting their turn to go in. I returned empty handed.

I’ve been curious about what the farmer’s market would feel like with physical distancing. For the moment I’ll keep enjoying a masked and easy bike ride to scoop up a weekly farm box from my neighbor’s porch.
Thank you so much for today’s morning meditation. Dwelling in that place of knowing that in times of scarcity, loneliness and illness I’ve always been able to create points of light along my personal path builds so much confidence. Coming together as a community of Light, knowing that we have abundant resources and that our bodies are healing machines… These affirmations lift me up and prepare me to move into the future with full faith. I listened twice and made notes. Thank you deeply for your companionship on the journey.
Yes, I had a similar experience. Came with the intention to get much of my vegetables for the week, and returned home after witnessing the much more stringent rules in this open air market than at the local PCC’s. They were letting so very few folks in at a time, it looked empty.
