Light Hunting

I begin this day like every day, with yoga practices including meditation, chanting and prayer. I get up in the dark before the energetic noise of electromagnetic frequencies dominate. I sit with my hips and knees in the same horizontal plane, and my spinal length maintained so I can breathe freely and deeply.

Most folks only get up at 4 AM in an emergency, for work, a travel need, or to go hunting. I am up hunting Light. I find that Light within my heart, and let it fill me so I’m ready for the day, whatever it may bring.

What gets you up early? Can you enjoy the solitude and silence? Ki to Happiness fills with Light to dispel what the Yoga Sutras call “the darkness of unwisdom”.
