Like many families, ours enjoys watching movies together. My mom had never seen my favorite, so we watched it last night. The 1992 Orlando is a beautiful and thought-provoking film based on Virginia Woolf’s novel.
Poetry versus science, male versus female, society versus individuality, are themes that the movie explores. I loved the intimacy of main character “breaking the third wall“ by speaking or glancing toward us, the viewing audience.
