Today, the Catholic world welcomes the new Pope. My mother informed my brother and me of the news together in a group text. We are all cradle Catholics who have long ago embraced the true nature of the word “catholic”, which means universal, all inclusive.
Yoga also is all inclusive, unitive, welcoming everyone. Each path that connects to universal consciousness is respected. No matter who is Pope, my prayers and meditation align me with the indwelling Spirit available to each of us.
