The IRS surprised me with a tax refund. I called my accountant to find out why I got it. He let me know the details of how he had calculated the penalty for not paying quarterly taxes only for it to be waived.
It’s not much, but it feels like a windfall. Unexpected, and extra abundance, I’m looking forward to doing something good with it. Perhaps like the new seeds and starts in my garden, under the right conditions, it’ll grow.
