This morning in the storm’s aftermath I’m counting blessings. We still have power, the energetic disruption has passed, and the bird song has never been stronger. Others in our community are less fortunate, with power outages, and property damage.
Our decorative fairy lights lost their electricity, and our Internet service was disrupted in the night. These small consequences are all that’s left of the thunder, lightning, hail, rain, and full gale force winds.  I give thanks for the the grounding and centering yoga practice and am ready to salute the sun as it’s about to shine on us at dawn.
