Of all the black Friday specials I’ve ever heard of, yesterday our son got the best deal. One of our beloved community members had a desire to release a truck that belonged to her recently deceased brother. She has now gifted it to our 31 year old.
My role in their transaction was simply to connect them, then step out of the way. As a stepparent, I’ve learned to do this step dance very well. My stepdad taught me how, and I continue as part of his legacy.
